Hi,

at some point I installed a ppa(oibaf-graphics-drivers-natty) to receive the most recent versions of Mesa.
Now I ran into troubles with the most recents release of the Mesa driver v 8.0 -devel.
How can I return to a working version like a stable driver?

Help appreciated!

Hi Thob,

I can only suggest you run the addtional hardware driver installer again and deactivate the PPA'S you added!!.

I didn't run any additional hardware drivers in the beginning, I think they are part of Ubuntu, I just added this ppa. Can I just deactivate the ppa?

I would run the installer and deactivate the PPA, that should install either ATI or Nvidia drivers and overwrite the other drivers you installed, it doesn't work for Intel cards!!.

well, since I got an Intel card I need to try something else or wait for a new update of the driver.
