Still new to this Distro

When booting the black and white text display has some RED or ORANGE stars beside some entries.
These move from the screen so fast that I cannot read them.
Is there a way to slow the display down or are they saved in a log somewhere, and if so what is the file name

Missing additional information

Using 10.10 the system boots OK and all the things I want do do seem to work, I would just like to know what the stars mean

Hi transadd,

What version are you trying to install, and in what fashion, eg (usb , dvd)

And obviously the hardware you're trying to install on as well.

The more information the better the results.
