Hi guys, got a question or two, when downloaded and installed, this MAY sound like a stupid one, but does/can EVERYTHING then be in Anglais/English? And, where do I get my hands on that cool Conky Controler?
P.S. Exactly how big is the ISO? (I do know that makes 3 Questions)

My vm install is English - with the occasional French word
The file size on dvd is 972mb
The cool Conky controller is on the NEW 12.04 version not the 11.10 version.

The version that can be downloaded is 11.10 - that's the only version I've been able to find anyway, I believe that the 12.04 will be available in April. The link given above does not point to the Voyager distro only the current daily Xubuntu release.

Just a shot in the dark so to speak, but I wonder if downloading and installing the 11.10 version might provide a path for Upgrading to the 12.04 LTS version?

Does not seem to be the case. I keep my 11.10 Voyager up to date daily and there don't appear to be any radical changes being made. I'll certainly post if anything dramatic happens.

Like all Ubuntu versions, 11.10 will be updated via the system update option which is in all versions of Ubuntu. You will be given the chance to completely update 11.10 to 12.04 when 12.04 is available!!.

Hi SB,

you can select which languages you want via the Language Support function in the control center. If you only want one language, take the tick out of the box to the right of the language you wish to remove. You must leave at least one language in the list!!.

You can also install the package 'localepurge' which will remove any unwanted languages you choose to delete!!.

The Conky Controller is available in version 11.10.

The ISO is some 978 MB in size.
