Upgrading between releases

I've just found out about Pinguy OS and it looks very interesting, it seems to use Linux Mint update manager, does it mean that it also provides no easy GUI way to upgrade between releases?

First off, as someone who has been using Ubuntu based things on personal and production machines for nearly four years, I always recommend a clean install VS a upgrade.

However you can find instructions here for the easiest way to upgrade Pinguy 10.04 to 10.10
